“If you have the mindset to do it, you’ll do it,” Terry said. That is a lesson she will make sure her son learns, too.”

“It was scary, but the teacher made it really easy,” she says. “Whenever I needed help, she was there to guide me and so was the rest of the staff. There was a lot of ‘You can do it.’ Just them being supportive helped me out so much. It made me feel I can do it. They motivated me.”
