At MSJC Adult Education, we are committed to empowering you through education that is inclusive, accessible, and free. Whether you're preparing for a career, transferring to a university, or continuing your personal growth, our diverse programs and supportive community are here to guide you every step of the way. Programs

  • Career Training Classes: Gain practical, hands-on training in fields like business, culinary arts, and automotive repair to jumpstart your career or advance your skills – all at no cost.
  • Citizenship Classes: Through free citzenship classes, build the skills to complete the N-400, enhance your reading, writing, and speaking, and prepare for the USCIS Naturalization Interview.
  • English as a Second Language (ESL): Build speaking, reading, writing, and grammar skills to prepare for educational and career opportunities. Classes range from beginner to advanced levels – free of charge.
  • High School Equivalency Program: Strengthen your math, reading, and writing skills to prepare for the GED or HiSET exams and earn your high school equivalency. Classes at all levels help you achieve your goals – for free.

Take a test for recommended level placement at your registration appointment.

MSJC Adult Educaton staff were more than happy to help me every step of the way putting me at ease. They stepped up without hesitation and became my village, providing endless support with my studies, and making it possible for me to reach my goal...I am proud to say I am now a GED graduate who has transferred over to MSJC 2+2 pathway and only four semesters away from obtaining my AS in Business Administration, my AA in Economics preparing to transfer to Cal State San Marcos in the Fall of 2025 to obtain my BS in Business Administration.
