The program was explained in detail from start to finish. It was very easy and simple to follow and stay on track. The thing that I liked the most was the convenience of being able to get this done from home. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and they addressed every question and concern. This was much easier than I had anticipated and also very convenient and flexible with my schedule.
My experience at Perris Community Adult School has been amazing! The staff were kind and very helpful every step of the way. I’m grateful for everyone who supported me.
The reason I came back to school was to finish what I started and keep a promise I made to myself. I am proud to say I achieved my goal of earning my high school diploma at Murrieta Valley Adult School.
At age 50, I knew it was time to grow up. I came to MVAS and was encouraged to power through. I finally made it at age 54! Thanks to the staff, I am a high school graduate!
Deciding to go back to school and earn my high school diploma was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I encourage anyone who’s thinking about it to take that step. It’s never too late to invest in yourself!
After twenty-one years of being out of school the thought of returning to obtain my GED was beyond freighting. MSJC Adult Educaton staff were more than happy to help me every step of the way putting me at ease.
The ESL Program at Valley Adult School has provided me with a convenient PM class that offers free childcare and counseling. My ESL Class is dynamic and offers a lot of real-life experiences. My teacher is engaging and very inspiring. I feel that I can now communicate with co-workers and the public. I feel confident to enroll in higher classes.
Graduating from Valley Adult School was a transformative experience. I participated in the ESL, HSD, and CTE programs. These classes gave me the tools and confidence to pursue a new job and career. After my journey at VAS, I obtained a job as a Bilingual Paraeducator and the VAS counselor helped me enroll at Mount San Jacinto College, where I am writing my next chapter.
Getting my high school diploma at Hemet Adult School while in my 30s with four young children at home is a feeling of accomplishment that I can’t even describe!
